After a long wait, finally, Black Saturday which falls on April 11, 2009 had been declared by the Office of the President as a Special Non-Working Holiday last April 8, 2009. This is in addition to the three regular holidays (April 6, 9 & 10) we had for the week.
I am reprinting in full copy of the Proclamation direct from the OPS re: Black Saturday Holiday for everybody's information and reference. For further details, you may log on to www.op.gov.ph (the official website of the Office of the President).
